Paris Graffiti Removal Guy Comes Back to Discover Image of Himself in the Same Spot

Street artist Combo has spectacularly gotten back at a graffiti cleaner in Paris by making him the star of his next work.
Combo snapped the cleaner painting over his recently completed piece featuring a graffiti-ing Huey, Dewey and Louie – so what did he do? He put up another piece the next day featuring the same cleaner! Gold!

Graffiti Removal Guy Comes Back to Discover Image of Himself in the Same Spot

Street artist DS recently added a couple of paste-ups to a wall in London. It didn’t take too long before a graffiti removal guy removed the paste-ups.  Shortly after that, DS was back with a paste up of the graffiti removal guy removing the graffiti. Gold!
Art imitates removal of art!

Unmasked words with masked graffiti artist ALEC MONOPOLY!

We often see his art, never see his face but finally get to hear him speak! Alec Monopoly grew up painting the streets of New York, whether on billboards or buildings nothing could contain his creativity. He keeps his identity a secret to ensure his illegal graffiti tagging persists without consequence. His artistic inspirations stem from Basquiat and Keith Haring; with his signature being an homage to both (The E in his signature is the font Basquiat used to use and the action marks above the C are that of Keith Haring). Whether in the streets or in galleries; Alec is an ever changing artist who is always thinking about his next piece.

"Je Suis Charlie", a tribute mural by Gris1

Gris1 from the excellent Da Mental Vaporz crew just finished working on this brand new tribute piece entitled "Je Suis Charlie".
The French street artist painted this strong and powerful mural showing a tank using a green pencil as his weapon. The tank is tagged with a peace and love sign and the Hebdo writing. Charlie Hebdo is a French satirical weekly newspaper, featuring cartoons, reports, polemics, and jokes. On 7 January 2015, three Islamist gunmen opened fire at the Paris office of Charlie Hebdo, killing twelve, including staff cartoonists Charb, Cabu, Honoré, Tignous and Wolinski, economist Bernard Maris and two police officers standing guard at the magazine, and wounding eleven, four of them seriously.
